Mandatory e-invoicing since 1 September 2026: what changes for independent vehicle-convoying operators
Since 1 September 2026, every VAT-registered business in France must be able to receive electronic invoices. For independent convoying operators, it's a good moment to look at how you currently invoice.
What actually changes
- Reception: mandatory for everyone since 1 September 2026.
- Issuance: immediate for large companies and ETIs, phased in through September 2027 for small/medium businesses and micro-entrepreneurs.
- In other words: even if you're a micro-entrepreneur with until 2027 to issue e-invoices, you must already be able to receive them.
The spreadsheet and manual-invoice problem
Many independent operators still invoice at month-end, piecing missions back together from notes, texts, or a shared spreadsheet. That approach gets risky under the new rules: data entry errors, forgotten missions, late payments.
What Izorga changes
Izorga centralizes your missions (creation, assignment, field tracking with timestamped photos) and automatically generates the e-invoice as soon as a mission closes. No re-entry, no spreadsheet, compliant with the obligation in force since September 2026.
