Fleet managers: what e-invoicing changes for you

If you manage a vehicle fleet or oversee convoying providers, the e-invoicing reform isn't just an accounting topic — it directly affects how you track missions and validate your providers' invoices.

What the law requires

Every VAT-registered business must be able to receive electronic invoices since 1 September 2026. Large companies and ETIs must also issue electronically from that date; smaller structures have until September 2027.

Why it's also an operational opportunity

Most fleet managers today receive provider invoices in different formats (PDF, paper, Excel), which then have to be manually matched against actual missions. Going electronic is a chance to centralize that whole process.
